Don’t make the mistake of making phones for women. Female mobile youth want phones that offer great experiences first, fashion second. In a male dominated mobile industry, manufacturers often succumb to the Pink Phone Syndrome – the belief that the main Social Currency of a phone to youth is its pink color. Outside of motherhood and cute photos of kittens women (e.g. Droidettes, Disruptive Divas) are also interested in entrepreneurship, travel, technology, culture and so on.
