It lasted a few years longer into my early teens and I'm here to tell you, NO ONE TOOK THAT BS.SERIOUSLY! Joni James was a great singer and I constantly listen to the ad on you tube. good memories you know. But the true "Pepsi Generation " was HIGHLY suspect of those who held power and attempted to wield power over us based pon money and mass media exposure. so it was self defeating . But if in fact they sold more of the stuff , maybe it worked on a subliminal level!
