Teen social network Bebo plans to offer viral marketing services to youth brands. Keen to get a slice of the API pie, Bebo is provided a new platform called Open Media, partnering up with key household brands such as BBC, C4, Last.Fm, MoS, MTV and Yahoo!
Bebo currently maintains a strong beach-head in UK & Ireleand with about 11.6 million users, according to comScore estimates, with 30 million subscribers worldwide. Over 90% of Bebo users are under the age of 35 and the site is one of the fastest growing on the Internet, with 5 users signing up each second.
