Samyak Chakrabarty from Concrea Communications is blazing a trail in India because a) most marketing agencies are run by people twice his age and b) “youth marketing” to most Indian creatives is an anomaly .
As you know, we like trailblazers here on mobileYouth – that’s why we’re pleased to have Samyak and Concrea on board with our existing Asian partners Bernard Hor and John Solomon as a part of our growing Asian Youth Research Partnership to be launched officially 2010.
Time for a change. That’s why Samyak is helping both domestic and international brands get their feet wet in the diverse Indian youth market – and when we mean market we mean 550 million customers – 250 million of whom have yet to get their first phone. So I was interested to find out how brands can crack this market and what the inevitable pitfalls are they make when setting out trying to engage Indian youth for the first time.
