What do teens primarily use their cellphone for?

iPod touch users are generally younger than iPhone users.
A recent survey carried out by Metrics, claimed that the average user age for the iPod Touch is 13-17 years old. On the other hand iPhone users are on average 35-49 years old. (Source Mike @ Metrics)
Book publishers are making moves to attract more youth market.
“The Hills” star Lauren Conrad recently had her book published and with it, some interesting ideas came along for the ride. For instance, there are 2D barcodes etched on the book jacket which users can scan and use to access exclusive content including interviews with the author. A new trend or a desperate last push?
